Caprylic Acid is a carboxylic acid. It is a colorless oily liquid and is produced by the oxidation of C8 aldehyde. Caprylic Acid is used in lubricants, in the production of esters for perfume and dyes, and as a disinfectant, sanitizer and fungicide in food processing plants, medical facilities and plant nurseries respectively.
