EcoVadis certification is a globally recognized assessment platform that rates businesses’ sustainability based on four key categories: environmental impact, labor and human rights standards, ethics, and procurement practices. RCT holds a bronze certification signifying the top 35% of businesses sustainability practices. Sustainability is of upmost importance to Rierden Chemical on a daily basis.

RSPO Certification is a global certification system for certified sustainable palm oil. It assures individuals that RSPO Members who produce or physically handle RSPO Certified Sustainable Palm Oil (CSPO) have obtained RSPO Certification. The certification includes the assurance that RCT has committed to and complied with sustainability requirements, and can improve the quality of life of palm oil farmers. Rierden Chemical currently holds an RSPO Distributors License to cover our import palm-derived glycerine & fatty acids.
Quality Assurance International, upon providing this certification, states that an organization is certified to the USDA organic regulations. RCT is organic certified and continues to be the leading importer & marketer of organic glycerine into North America.
FSMA stands for Food Safety Modernization Act, which regulates food production and manufacturing processes within the United States’ food supply chain. The act requires businesses to evaluate their operations for potential hazards and establish proactive measures for preventing contamination. The act also establishes a voluntary program for the accreditation of third-party certification bodies to conduct food safety audits and issue certifications of foreign entities and the foods for humans and animals they produce. RCT is fully FSMA compliant and complies with all FDA regulations for sale of domestic & import chemicals into food-grade & cosmetic applications.
